The Cole Camp Rec League and the entire Cole Camp community have lost someone truly irreplaceable.
James was so much more than a member of our Rec League. For many years, he gave his time, his heart, and so much of himself to this program and, most importantly, to the kids who were part of it. He believed in giving every child the opportunity to play, grow, belong, and discover a love for sports that could stay with them for a lifetime.
James was the person you could count on. Whether he was coaching from the sidelines, umpiring a game, helping work through a problem, making plans for the future, or simply being a friend when one was needed, he showed up. Again and again.
His impact reaches far beyond wins, losses, practices, and games. It lives in the kids he encouraged, the coaches he supported, the friendships he built, and the program he worked so hard to make better.
James, there were still dreams, ideas, and plans we wanted to accomplish alongside you. While it will never be the same without you, we promise to keep moving forward. We will continue building the Rec League we dreamed about together, carrying your passion, dedication, and love for these kids with us every step of the way.
We will continue strong for you, James. Your legacy will always be a part of Cole Camp Rec League. ❤️
