The Green Ridge Chamber of Commerce is gathering information to create a community marketing flyer for the summer season. From small home-based businesses to storefront locations, we would love to feature and support businesses of all kinds within our community.

We’re excited to offer this new advertising opportunity as a benefit to our dues-paying members and as a way to help promote local commerce in Green Ridge.

Wow… what an incredible day at the 53rd Annual Loafers Convention !

We are beyond grateful to our amazing community for showing up, supporting us, and rallying behind this special tradition. Your continued encouragement and participation are what make this event so meaningful year after year.

A huge thank you to the Green Ridge Community Center Board for partnering with us and for all of their hard work organizing and running their silent auction. We are also so thankful for our dedicated volunteers who helped serve food, donated pies and baked goods, clean tables, collect money, and keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. And we can’t forget our incredible volunteer chicken fryers — you are the heart of Loafers Day!

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Tyson Foods and Colton’s Steakhouse of Warrensburg for their generous support.

It’s a long day, but we truly enjoyed every minute of serving our community and visiting with so many of you. Events like this remind us why we love what we do.

Without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you for supporting us and helping us fundraise so we can continue giving back to our beloved Green Ridge community.

We’re already looking forward to beginning plans for the 54th Annual Loafers Day in February 2027!

The Green Ridge Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our winners for the 3rd Annual LIGHT UP THE RIDGE. There were 25 ballots cast, over 5 dozen cookies eaten and lots of smiles! We would like to thank all 7 families who signed up to compete and bring this magical event to life. We would also like to acknowledge everyone who took the time to come in a vote. This event is one we look forward to each year, and without our communities continued support we wouldn’t be able to carry on this fun tradition.
