Oh no, we are on kitten number two, Jenny!! This illness has now been shared, with Jenny. We still need your help, more now than ever. I try not to ask often. But when I do it's because we are very hopeful that our kittens will thrive after treatment. Jenny!!

Second edit!! You all have helped raise $1,002.00 towards Jack-Jacks care!! Thankyou, Thankyou so very much. He's still fighting, kind of staying in limbo right now, but getting the best care at Bay Area Pet Hospital. His team is taking great care of him!

Edit: Please send some prayers too!

Ok folks, here's another urgent plea for help. This little man is only 6 weeks old but been with us for a few weeks. He crashed this morning and was taken to BAY AREA PET HOSPITAL for urgent need care. He's still there and will be hospitalized for at least 24 hours. Can you help? If so please donate or share our post. He needs us. He started out broken, that's how we recieved him. A slight broken pelvis and a little bit of pneumonia. He's been doing great. But crashed this morning. Please help if you can. Venmo scan in the comments!

Sharing from the carolina street cats

🎃🐈‍⬛ 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦…

“𝙄 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀 𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙎.”
And we believe you.

We believe you love the cats you feed every morning. The kittens you couldn’t turn away. The strays you’ve welcomed into your home.

But 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙.

Loving animals doesn’t automatically mean you’re doing right by them.

💔We’ve seen colonies grow out of control because someone loved feeding the cats but never got them fixed.

💔We’ve seen kittens born over and over because someone couldn’t bring themselves to spay a pregnant cat.

💔We’ve seen people take in animal after animal until the very home meant to save them became an unhealthy place to live.

And in many of these situations, nobody started out trying to hurt an animal.

Quite the opposite.

They thought they were helping.

❌ 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆.
❌ 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲.
❌𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀.
❌𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

Sometimes the hardest part of animal welfare is recognizing that 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗦 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠. (READ THAT AGAIN‼️)

🫶🏼You can have the biggest heart in the world and still need to change what you’re doing.

🫶🏼You can mean well and still make mistakes.

🫶🏼And you can genuinely love animals while contributing to the very problem you’re trying to solve.

THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A BAD PERSON. BUT IT DOES MEAN SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE.

Because at the end of the day, the animals don’t know how much you love them.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

The care they receive. The conditions they live in. Whether they’re healthy, safe, and protected from preventable suffering.

🧡LOVE IS THE REASON WE START HELPING. RESPONSIBILITY IS WHAT MAKES THAT HELP COUNT.

And that might be one of the most important conversations we can have in animal welfare.

💬 We’re curious: Have you ever seen someone with the best intentions unintentionally make an animal’s situation worse?

Let’s have a real conversation about it.
