Novartis and Bristol Myers pause rap-cell trials due to patient deaths. Rap-cel (rapcabtagene autoleucel) is an experimental CAR T-cell therapy designed to reprogram a patient's own immune cells to target and destroy specific B-cells. (thanks for sharing, More Than Lupus)

The deaths of three study participants led Novartis to halt development of rap-cel in multiple indications, while “transient” side effects led Bristol Myers to voluntarily pause its zola-cel program.

Enjoy coffee and donuts, kids activities, networking, silent auction items, 50/50 raffle and complementary health screenings. Walking is not required to participate.
