We hope everyone has been enjoying the spring season!
We are busy getting ready for Fall 2026/Spring 2027 registration. Registration will be open May 15-June 15!
***Please note that AYSO is changing from birth year divisions to school year divisions. Please see the chart below for further information.***
Why are we now basing registration on school year instead of birth year?
This change is part of a nationwide alignment across youth soccer organizations. Starting with the 2026–2027 season, AYSO, US Youth Soccer, and US Club Soccer are all transitioning from birth-year (Jan 1–Dec 31) age groupings to a school-year system (Aug 1–July 31).
The primary reasons for this change are:
• Alignment with school-grade peers - Players are more likely to be placed with classmates, making team formation more natural.
• Improved participation and retention - Kids tend to stay engaged in soccer when they are playing with friends from school.
• Reduced confusion across leagues - A unified national standard helps eliminate inconsistencies between organizations.
• Return to a previously used system - U.S. Soccer mandated birth-year grouping starting in 2017, but organizations later gained the flexibility to return to school-year alignment.
In alignment with this change, we will offer the following divisions ranging from birth dates of August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2022. Odd divisions will play in the next highest division offered (for example - U7 players will play in U8).
