It operates a museum in the lower level of the City Hall and the No. 10 Schoolhouse. There are several active committees these include The museum, schoolhouse, workroom, computer, and photography. The No. 10 schoolhouse is an 1887 one room school house located in beautiful Heritage Park. Many school groups of 2nd and 5 th grades visit the schoolhouse yearly for the experience of learning in a one
room school house. The museum consists of two large rooms filled with local memorbilia, graciously donated by local residents both current and past. There is a large photo collection of area residents, residences, and community related events. Also, newspaper and obituary files. The commission meets the 3rd Monday of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, September, October and November. Visiters are welcome and new members are always welcomed.
