It’s always special to do events at home in Grandview! We had an incredible night last Wednesday with sooo many students! Students took steps closer to Jesus and prayed together about their obstacles. It was a special night!

Phillip Puett is one of our Team Members, a Youth Pastor for 30 years, an established Ninja Warrior Competitor in the WNL League (top 25% in the nation in Masters!), and currently serves as a Word of Life Missionary. He hosts training sessions with 5-10 kids on his backyard ninja course and opens each week with a devotional lesson from the Bible. We are honored to partner with Phillip in his ministry with us on the road but also in his Backyard Ninja Academy. Go team!

We are so excited to make this announcement!

If you’ve ever met Joy, you know that sharing Jesus and Ninja Warrior are both a major part of who she is! Since Day 1 of her involvement with Overcoming Obstacles, it’s been evident that she believes in the mission of this ministry!

Now she’s going all in! We can’t wait to share more in the coming months of the dreams and goals for the future of Overcoming Obstacles! God has really incredible things ahead!
