Rainbow trout have been stocked and are ready for anglers at the Hamler, Deshler, and Weston Reservoirs, along with Napoleon-Oakwood Park Pond, Lake Township Pond, and Laskey Preserve Pond! 🎣 Additional fish species were also stocked at Laskey Preserve Pond.

Be sure to check all local regulations for each property before heading out. Enjoy the fishing, and remember, it’s always better fishing with a kid!

Its time to get signed up for the deer hunting weeks at the Laskey Preserve and our Rt 6 woods. Please text 419-722-6212 starting at 9 AM this Sat. Sept 19th. Chris will get back to you in the order the text came in. Laskey will be for two hunters, and the Rt. 6 location will be for one. Tree stands are allowed, but no nails in trees please.

Hunts will be for a full week from Monday through Sunday. Thank you, and enjoy the hunt.

On Saturday, we hosted the second annual Councilman John Hobbs Fishing Day at the Laskey Family Preserve! 🐟 Forty-five young anglers enjoyed a morning of fishing, and each child was able to take home their very own fishing pole.

A delicious lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and cookies was also included. We want to thank our many members who helped teach fishing skills and cook lunch, along with our generous sponsors: Maumee Bait and Tackle, Rohrs Brothers, Klumm Brothers, Cam-Tech Industrial Services, Learn Kernel, Skylight Financial Group, Clear Images, and many private donors.

It was a great day to be a kid and a mentor!

We are looking for volunteers for our Youth Fishing Event on Saturday, June 20th! 🎣

We have 45 kids signed up, and we would love a few extra hands to help make the day run smoothly. Volunteers will help kids learn the basics of baiting, casting, and reeling.

Lunch is included!

I have a lot more FREE trees that I picked up today. Oaks, crabapple, plum, Hickory, and Norway spruce. I will be at the red barn at 2899 St. Rt. 65, McClure from 9:30 - 11:30 for pick-up. Great trees for free. You can contact me at 419-467-8321
