This isn't about choosing a name - it's about sharing perspectives on our region, our future, and the values that should be reflected in the Foundation's identity.

Do you have a project, program, or organizational need that will strengthen our region?

We are offering grant awards up to $10,000 for nonprofits, schools, and public entities serving Grand Forks, Walsh, and/or Polk Counties.

Funding is available for initiatives that advance one of our three impact areas:
⭐ Community & Human Services
⭐ Human Rights
⭐ Environmental Sustainability

How to apply:
📄 Submit a 1–2 page Letter of Intent (LOI) through our Grant Portal by June 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
📌 Selected organizations will then be invited to submit a full application.

Funding may support projects, programs, or operating needs occurring between January 1–December 31, 2027.

Grants from the Iseminger Endowment for the Arts, distributed by the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region, will support music, theater, dance and arts education.

It was an exciting day thanks to our region's incredible donors and the creative and enduring vision of the Grand Forks Children's Museum team! Congratulations!

The $35 million facility, dedicated as a space “to learn, explore and grow together,” is expected to be completed in late summer or early fall 2027, said Katie Mayer, executive director.

🎭🎶 We're proud to announce $112,172 in 2026 𝗜𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 grants to 9 regional organizations supporting music, theater, dance, and arts education across our community.

From youth orchestras to inclusive choirs to summer theatre, these projects will bring thousands of people together through the arts - made possible year after year by the Iseminger family's generosity.

Discontinued about six years ago, the book-gifting program has been reactivated in the wake of a successful fundraising effort led by the Community Foundation. Continuing support will be needed.

Because of your generosity, children from birth to age five in our community will soon receive a FREE, age-appropriate book mailed right to their home each month, building a love of reading from the very start.

Enrollment opens July 1, 2026. We're so grateful to the incredible individuals, families, and organizations who made this possible.

While we've reached our launch goal, ongoing support is essential to keep the books coming for local kids and families for years to come. Just $35 sponsors one child for a full year of books.

📣 We’re Hiring: Marketing & Communications Intern

We are seeking a creative, motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to help share stories of community impact, donor generosity, and nonprofit partnerships across our region.

This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in:
✨ Social media strategy
✨ Storytelling & content creation
✨ Event communications
✨ Nonprofit marketing
✨ Community engagement
✨ Graphic design

We’re looking for someone with strong writing skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for community impact.
