Grand Roots Project We have a right to know what is in our food and make our own decisions. Residential farming discourages environmental exposure to pesticide chemicals and GMO's.

Grand Roots Project is a group of individuals committed to coming together for educational forums involving awareness of the state of our food supply, wellness, and community projects focusing on sustainability and nutrition. Over 80% of the ingredients in our supermarkets contain genetically engineered crops, or GMOs. 90% of the US population wants GMOs labelled, yet our government will not move to make this a priority. We can live independent, healthier, happier lives if we grow our own food and eat locally. We must teach ourselves and future generations - our children - sustainable techniques to ensure they have the resources needed to thrive. Join us. Contact us if you would like to get more involved.

The diversity of our food depends on the diversity of crops and varieties that farmers can access and grow. When farmers have access to diverse seed, they have more opportunities to grow food that reflects their regions, communities, cultures, and needs.
