Last night’s Family Build Night was a BLAST! 🧱✨

From towering masterpieces to creative LEGO creations that were truly built different, our families absolutely nailed it. The room was stacked with laughter, teamwork, imagination, and some seriously impressive engineering skills!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing GHS BETA Club & NHS volunteers for helping piece everything together and making the night so special. We couldn’t have built this incredible evening without you!

It was so much fun watching our families connect one brick at a time. Safe to say the memories we made are built to last! ❤️

What a way to close out our All-Star Lineup for Teacher Appreciation Week at Botetourt! 🏅🎉

Today, our amazing homeroom teachers took a well-deserved VICTORY LAP with their students during Walk & Talk…complete with music, pom poms, medals, laughter, and nonstop fun! 📣🏃‍♀️

To make the celebration even sweeter, EVERY Botetourt staff member received one of the numerous gift card options from a local businesses so that they can celebrate themselves however they choose after an incredible week of being appreciated! ❤️

Congratulations to Cheryl Polston for winning the final raffle basket of the week, which included a FREE 3-month family membership to Riverside Wellness Center! 🎁👏

Our teachers and staff are the heart of Botetourt. Their dedication, kindness, patience, and love for our students make a difference every single day. We are beyond thankful for all they do to inspire, encourage, and support our school community.

We’re officially in the HOME STRETCH! 🎉

The game plan for day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week was all about fueling our MVPs with their favorite snacks and goodies based on their personalized door tag preferences! From sweet treats to salty snacks, we loved celebrating our teachers with a little something special picked just for them. 🍫🥤🍿

Our teachers give 110% every single day, and this week is just a small way to show how much we appreciate their dedication, heart, and teamwork. 💙

Today’s Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week theme was our very own **Rehydration Station** featuring a crowd-favorite… a DIRTY SODA BAR! 😍💦

From sweet mixes to fizzy favorites, our teachers & staff got to sip, relax, and enjoy a little midweek pick-me-up because they absolutely deserve it! 🍒🥥🧋

Our star-studded bulldog was out there to remind families to return their decorated ⭐️GOLD STARS⭐️ by this Friday!

Decorate the star for an All-Star staff member (homeroom, resource, para, office staff, etc.) to help us decorate our Appreciation Week banner in the foyer! 🤩

🏈🍝 Teacher Appreciation Week, Day 2: Carbo Load Champions! 🍝🏈

Today we fueled up like true athletes gearing up for the big game! 💪 Our amazing staff enjoyed a delicious “carbo load” lunch featuring baked ziti and fresh salad, because every all-star team needs the right energy to perform at their best!

A huge THANK YOU to the Cunningham family for the incredible baked ziti donation. It was a total crowd favorite! 🙌 And shoutout to Ware Neck Produce for providing the fresh, crisp salad to round out the meal. 🥗

Also congratulations to Ms. Wilt, who was our “Hometown Team” raffle basket winner for today!

This is our annual plea for volunteers/nominees for our 2026-2027 PTA Board.

Right now, our Board is comprised of 3 parents, 3 Admin and we have 2 more parents that assist our Board regularly, as needed, "behind the scenes". As you can probably guess, for a school of over 500 students, we are in need of much more help! All of our current Board Members plan to return next year and are willing to hold any positions necessary, therefore all positions are open for our board next year. I am including a list of open positions and brief descriptions.
