We’re especially grateful for the time Jody gives to serve on Glide Revitalization’s Board of Directors as an unpaid volunteer. Board service comes with responsibilities, including conflict-of-interest requirements that can limit a board member’s own business from benefiting from certain grant opportunities. Jody’s willingness to give her time to this role reflects her commitment to our organization and our community.

Behind every leader in this photo are people, families and futures they work every day to support. Together, they represent something special about Douglas County: a community that shares its strengths and understands how much we can accomplish together.

At Aviva Health’s 2nd Annual Community Impact Panel, these leaders shared their time, insight and hearts with our Roseburg Family Medicine Residency physicians—helping them better understand the place and the people they serve.

A child’s success, a family’s stability, a patient’s health and our community’s future are interwoven. So is the work of the people pictured here.

Aviva is honored to serve alongside these individuals and deeply grateful they showed up for us. Their investment in our residents is an investment in everyone those physicians will care for.

So much of our work is connecting neighbors with the right resources at the right time. That’s why our team joined the 2026 Abundancy Concept: the more we know about the partners working across Douglas County, the better we can connect people with the support they need. Our Executive Director, Jeana Beam, also joined the panel representing her additional role with the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership.

Our team attended the Nonprofit Association of Oregon Resource Roundup, where we heard directly from top regional funders, including Oregon Community Foundation, The Ford Family Foundation, Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation, and M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. We left with practical grant writing tips and fresh ideas to keep strengthening our work in the community.
