☘️ Introducing our 2027 Grand Marshals: Tom and Mary Pat Joyce of O’Neill’s Food Market! ☘️

A beloved part of Glenside for generations, O’Neill’s is more than a neighborhood market. It’s family, familiar faces and community. We’re delighted to honor Tom and Mary Pat at the 2027 Glenside St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

Naturally, we couldn’t ask them without a little parade of our own.

Led by Brendan Dougherty on the bagpipes, our board, committee and the Joyce family marched from May Funeral Home over to O’Neill’s for the big surprise!

All seven of their children gathered for the big reveal. We presented flowers and official Grand Marshal shirts and asked, “Will you be our 2027 Grand Marshals?”

Our outgoing Grand Marshals, Bill and Frances Donahue, parents of our president Noreen McAleer and fellow committee members, joined us to pass the honor on to Tom and Mary Pat.

There were hugs, laughter and plenty of family pride. A wonderful afternoon celebrating two people who mean so much to our community.

Please join us in congratulating Tom and Mary Pat! We can’t wait to follow your lead in 2027. ☘️

Last month, 650 people came together in Keswick Village for an evening of fellowship, food and fun. We call it Glenside En Blanc. After paying the event expenses, funds remained from your registration fees, and that helps buy meals for our hungry neighbors. Today, Tim from William R. May Funeral Home, Inc. presented the check to Lino at Jenkintown Food Cupboard.
