There's been a bit of sibling drama in foster care this week…

Rosie and Andrew have realized they're both adorable, both about 4½ months old, both around 35 pounds, and both looking for forever homes.

Naturally, this sparked one very important debate…

Who's getting adopted first? 👀

💖 Rosie: So… I heard you've been checking for adoption applications.

💙 Andrew: It's called staying informed.

💖 Rosie: It's called refreshing the page every five minutes.

💙 Andrew: I just like to be prepared.

💖 Rosie: Prepared for what? Me getting adopted first?

💙 Andrew: Please. I have movie-star looks.

💖 Rosie: I have a fan club.

💙 Andrew: I have floppy ears.

💖 Rosie: I have puppy-dog eyes.

💙 Andrew: I have charm.

💖 Rosie: I literally make strangers fall in love with me.

💙 Andrew: …I do that too.

💖 Rosie: Tell you what. First one adopted has to send the other a postcard from their new couch.

💙 Andrew: Deal.

💖 Rosie: But what if we both get adopted at the same time?

💙 Andrew: Then I guess we both win.

💖 Rosie: I was hoping you'd say that. ❤️

The truth? These sweet siblings may tease each other, but what they each really want is a family to call their own.

Rosie is a 4.5-month-old, 35-pound hound mix with one very important mission: to find her forever family. Along the way, she’d also like to check a few things off her puppy bucket list…

✅ Go on all the car rides.

✅ Earn treats for being a good girl.
✅ Snuggle under cozy blankets.

This sweet girl is equal parts playful and cuddly. She loves kids, adores other dogs, and is always ready for an adventure before curling up for movie night. Rosie is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and already knows “sit,” “off,” and her name. She’s still working on her puppy manners and daytime crate confidence, but she’s a smart cookie who learns quickly—especially when snacks are involved!

🎤🐿️ ALVIN UPDATE: His Band Is Ready… But He’s Still Missing His Biggest Fan. 🐶💛

Breaking news from Alvin & the Squeakmonks: our lead singer is still accepting applications for his forever family.

At about 11 months old, Alvin has perfected the art of being equal parts goofball and cuddle bug. He’s the kind of pup who can turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure and then happily crash next to you for a well-earned nap.

A few things about our favorite frontman:
🎵 About 15 lbs of personality
🎵 Sweet and affectionate once he gets to know you
🎵 A little shy at first, but worth the encore
🎵 High-energy and always up for fun
🎵 Working hard on his house training and puppy manners
🎵 Would love an active family ready to help him keep learning

The only thing missing from Alvin’s greatest hit album? A family to call his own.

He’s watched other rescue pups take their final bows and head home, and we think it’s finally time for Alvin to get his standing ovation. 🥹

🌭🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾🌭

Help us make the Hot Dogs of Summer Adoption Event a success! The London Sanctuary is looking for at least 4 awesome volunteers to lend a hand and help our adoptable hounds shine.

📅 Saturday, June 13, 2026
🕤 Volunteer Shift: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
📍 Earth Pets Natural Pet Market – San Marco
1629 Hendricks Ave
Jacksonville, FL 32207

Volunteers will help with:
🐶 Greeting visitors and introducing our adoptable dogs
🏕️ Event setup and breakdown
🐾 Walking and handling dogs during the event
💚 Sharing information about our rescue and adoption process
🎉 Making the day fun for our pups and guests!

Teens are welcome! Service hours are available for students needing volunteer credit.

Whether you’re a seasoned hound handler or simply love dogs and want to help, we’d love to have you join us. It’s a great way to give back, meet fellow animal lovers, and maybe even fall in love with a floppy-eared friend.

☕️ Another Episode of TLS Tea with the Tails (for NATIONAL LEAVE THE OFFICE EARLY DAY)

Jackson: Baroo-no, did you hear? It's National Leave the Office Early Day.

Baroo-no Mars: Leave early? Buddy, I've been preparing for that moment my entire life.

Jackson: Same. My schedule today is pretty packed though.

Baroo-no Mars: Oh yeah? What've you got?

Jackson: Morning nap. Mid-morning nap. Lunch. Afternoon nap. Strategic sunbeam relocation. Then an evening nap.

Baroo-no Mars: Wow. That's ambitious. I was just planning to supervise snack time and perfect my couch-snuggling technique.

Jackson: You know, most humans spend years dreaming about retirement.

Baroo-no Mars: And we're already qualified.

Jackson: Extremely qualified.

Baroo-no Mars: The only thing missing is a family to share the couch with.

Jackson: Good point. We should probably mention we're available for adoption through The London Sanctuary.

Baroo-no Mars: Excellent idea. Now excuse me... all this talking has exhausted me.

Jackson: Same. See you at the next nap.
