Julie is off on another adventure! We're proud to have her representing Fossil Rim on the international stage and championing work that makes a real difference for wildlife conservation.

Dr. Julie Swenson, President of AAZV, recently gave a plenary talk at the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV) conference in Dublin, Ireland, presenting on conservation in Chad and efforts to reintroduce critically endangered scimitar horned oryx, addax, and dama gazelle back into the Sahelo Saharan ecosystem.

It's a great example of the health and conservation work AAZV members are advancing in the field every day, and we're proud to see that work shared on the international stage!

Zoomies are not just reserved for the young but for the young at heart. 🦒💨

Zoomies and other outbursts of energy are a common sight among babies of all species at Fossil Rim. One of our giraffe calves has not only been having zoomies by herself but also getting the rest of the herd to join in too. ❤️
