Gig Harbor Cruisers Automotive Club We are the Gig Harbor Cruisers Automotive Club in Gig Harbor, WA and hosts of the Cruise the Narrows Car Show each year on the first Saturday in August.

100% Volunteers Gig Harbor Cruisers Automotive Club managed Car and Motorcycle Show with proceeds benefiting educational scholarships and service to youth organizations. This fun event is open to all.

We had a great time at Tacoma Narrows Airport Day last Saturday! The Cruisers brought 27 cars and had a special scavenger hunt for the kids. We hid little cars around the vehicles and the kids had to find them and tell us how many they spotted. By 10:30 a.m., we had given away more than 120 Hot Wheels cars!

A huge thank you to Tacoma Narrows Airport for inviting the Cruisers to be part of the day. With attendance far surpassing last year, we’re excited to see what the future holds for this event!

The first day of school is here!

The Gig Harbor Cruisers want to wish all the students, teachers and staff of the Peninsula School District a fantastic start to the new school year.

As school buses return to the roads and students are walking, biking and heading to bus stops, it’s also a good reminder for all of us behind the wheel to slow down, stay alert and give ourselves a little extra time.

Here’s to a great school year, new experiences and plenty of memories along the way. Have a great first day, Peninsula School District!

Good food, good company and plenty of car talk made for a wonderful annual club picnic!

Last week club members and their families gathered for a fantastic potluck, with lots of time to mingle and enjoy each other’s company.

We want to give a special thank you to our cooks who helped make sure everyone was well fed. We’ll let the photo speak for itself!

The evening wrapped up with a group heading over to the cars to hear the stories behind them. Because as much as we love the cars, it’s the people and the stories that make this club so special.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for another wonderful annual club picnic!

Cars, planes, activities, and fun for the whole family!

Gig Harbor Cruisers will be joining the fun at Tacoma Narrows Airport Day on Saturday, August 29, with cars on display. While you’re there, you can watch airport activities and operations, visit airport businesses, honor our military, check out displays and booths, and let the kids explore STEM activities.

🕘 Gates open at 9 a.m., with activities running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One of the things we love most about being part of the Gig Harbor Cruisers is taking our cars out into the community.

Recently, several of our members visited Village Concepts of Gig Harbor for their community car show. While we enjoy sharing our cars, it is the conversations that make these visits so special. We love chatting with the residents, hearing their stories and listening to the memories that certain cars bring back.

We do a handful of these car shows at retirement communities each year and every one of them reminds us that cars are about so much more than horsepower and chrome. They connect us to people, memories and stories.

Thank you to the residents and staff at Village Concepts of Gig Harbor for having us and the yummy lunch. We had a wonderful time!
