There’s nothing cozier than a caring community.

Project Cozy brings Gibsonville together to share warmth through donations of new winter accessories—hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, and socks—for our neighbors who need them most.

Due to limited space, we are unable to collect donations at the library. Please take your donations to one of the following locations:
-Gibsonville Community Center
-Gibsonville Town Hall
-Gibsonville Fire Station

Collected items will be distributed at our Winter Gear Giveaway Event at the library on Saturday December 13 from 12-3pm.

Visit giblib.org/cozy for more information.

When each of us gives a little, our whole town feels it. ❤️

We are absolutely amazed by how awesome our community is!!

Laura, Annie, and Larry from Frozen Pines Tattoo dropped off these donations today. They asked their clients bring in donations for our pantry, and boy did they come through!! All of these non-perishables, plus a cash donation that we can use to fill our fridge.

We love how supportive this community is of each other. Our hearts, (and pantry shelves!), are so full right now!

Don't know what to buy to help stock the food pantry?

Proteins are always the first to go (refrigerated or shelf stable), fresh/canned/frozen fruit, fruit juice, household items such as paper towels/toilet paper/dish soap/etc., hygiene items such as deodorant/toothpaste/tampons or pads/etc.

If you still aren't sure what to get to fill our shelves, just pick up a gift card the next time you're grocery shopping and bring it by the library. We will happily do the shopping to fill whatever the current needs may be!

In the coming weeks, our friends and neighbors will need our help more than ever. We are asking for donations of all food items, basic toiletries, baby items, and household goods for our Community Pantry.

If you are unable to get out and shop, monetary donations are also accepted by the Friends of the Gibsonville Public Library.

Help us keep our pantry stocked for our neighbors in need, and help spread the word about it to families or individuals you know who might be struggling. Our pantry is is open to anyone who needs it, there is no registration or qualification needed.

Go to giblib.org/pantry to find lists of requested items for donation, details about making monetary donations, and information on how to host your own food or supply drive to benefit our pantry.

Filled the fridge today. We took the (TAG) Teen Advisory Group on a shopping trip. Worked on our budgeting and grocery math. Stocked up the food pantry fridge using funds donated from the Gibsonville United Methodist Church. We are so thankful for our neighbors helping our community.
