Today we wrapped up our Teacher Appreciation Week with our ⭐ Hall of Heroes Celebration ⭐ — honoring every superpower that makes our school such a special place.

From the patience and kindness shown each day, to the encouragement, creativity, laughter, and love poured into our students… our teachers and staff truly are heroes in every sense of the word.

This week was just a small way to say THANK YOU for all that you do behind the scenes and beyond the classroom walls. Your impact reaches farther than you know, and our school community is stronger because of you.

Thank you for being the heart of our school and for showing up every single day with your own unique superpowers. ❤️

WEDNESDAY – Hero Snacks & Drinks Day 🧃🍿

Today was all about keeping our amazing teachers fueled between missions! From sweet treats to savory snacks, we loved celebrating the everyday heroes who give so much of themselves to our students and school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today special — your kindness, generosity, and support mean so much. Our heroes definitely deserved the extra fuel today! 💛

TUESDAY – Taco ’Bout Our Heroes! 🌮

The celebration continued with an incredible taco bar that brought all the flavor and all the smiles! From savory fillings to sweet treats, it was a well-deserved moment for our amazing teachers to relax, connect, and feel appreciated.

A special shout out to Frank Gore for cooking up such a delicious spread—everything was made with care and truly brought the whole theme to life!

Because let’s be honest… they’re nacho average teachers. 💛

Every day they go above and beyond for our students, and today was just a small way to give some of that love right back. 🌮✨

MONDAY – Hero Fuel-Up Day ☕🍩

“Every hero needs a strong start!”

Teacher Appreciation Week kicked off with a well-deserved Hero Fuel-Up Day, celebrating the incredible educators who show up, give their all, and pour into students each and every day. 💛

Teachers and staff stopped by to grab a coffee, enjoy some treats, and take a moment to recharge—and it was so wonderful to see them take a well-earned pause. Their energy, patience, and dedication are what keep the school community strong.

Here’s to fueling the heroes who fuel the future. They are appreciated more than words can say! 🍎✨

The Georgia Conservation Commission is excited to offer 4 scholarships to the **Green Mountain Conservation Camp (GMCC) for 2026!

This incredible sleep-away camp is open to youth ages 12–16 and is packed with hands-on outdoor learning, think fish & wildlife, ecology, forestry, outdoor first aid, hunter safety, and more. It’s an unforgettable Vermont experience! 🏕️

✨ Availability Update:
Spots are still open for most girls’ weeks and boys’ basic sessions (June + early July). Boys’ advanced weeks are currently full.
📌 Scholarship Details:
• Open to Georgia residents only
• Limit 1 per family
