Happy rainy Monday! WOW..what a great Spring, already.
This past week has been extremely busy. I know, I say that a lot. We have had 3 families in a moving situation who need everything from cleaning supplies, groceries to mattresses and bedding.
One of our families is a grandmother who now takes care of two of her grandchildren, both with very special and specific needs. There was a fire in her apartment, and they are living in a motel until a new apartment opens up for them.
Another family has the dad working out of town for a few months until the construction starts in Austin. He has a wife and 2 babies. She works for DoorDash to help make ends meet. They are moving into an apartment.
We have a single mom with 6 children who has moved from a horrible rental to a nice one, and she is starting over with furniture needs.
Today I put some mattresses in a box and a box spring (that you assemble yourself), and mattress covers on our Amazon Wish List. Already this year, we have found and provided 16 or so beds of all sizes. I guess our mighty God feels that we need to do more than we started out with.
Please pass this email on if you have any friends in your circles who might be interested in helping. We will always accept bed linens from twin to queen (comforter/pillows/sheets). Remember, we cater to kiddos.
