A cat's purr is an effective natural stress-reliever. The rhythmic sound and gentle vibration stimulate your nervous system in a way that can quickly help lower your heart rate, reduce the stress hormone, and calm feelings of anxiety.

Summer solstice is today! Check out this special yoga class being offered by one of our community partners tonight at 7 pm in AC.

🌞✨ Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Us! ✨

This Friday at 7 PM, Amber Leigh Morris will lead a special Summer Solstice Yin Yoga practice. We'll move through a gentle, grounding Yin sequence accompanied by a curated Sublime playlist, beginning with their newest song "Until the Sun Explodes" and closing with the summer classic "Doin' Time."

We'll start with a short meditation, reflect on the changing of the seasons, and end with an extra-long, deeply restorative Savasana. Reiki will be offered to anyone who would like it.

Whether you're welcoming a new season, seeking a moment of peace, or simply looking to slow down and reconnect, we would love to have you join us.

On Juneteenth, we're focusing on uplifting Black voices in mental health by highlighting Black-led mental health organizations such as those listed below.

The holiday, which originated in Galveston, Texas, in 1865, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. This day represents freedom and justice for Black Americans and serves as an opportunity for all of us to educate ourselves about the continued impact of trauma caused by slavery.
