Field Day 2026 was a huge success and we want to send a special thanks to our teachers and volunteers! 🎉 Our students had an amazing day, and we truly could not have done it without our incredible volunteers.

To our 6th and 7th grade parents — we hope you’ll volunteer again next year as your students continue the DVA journey. Please DM us to get added to our email list, if you aren't already.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to celebrate our teachers and staff at Da Vinci Academy at SHMS and South Hall Middle School with tacos for lunch from El Carreton 400 Pearl Nix Pkw! What a blessing to be able to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate them! Special shout out to our DVA parents and families for making this possible, and the amazing customer service from El Carreton 2.0!

Here’s a full circle moment: one of our friends from El Carreton who was helping us was a SHMS student who is graduating next week from JHS!

After advancing through school-level rounds held earlier this year, the following students represented our school today at the regional county tech fair.

7th Grader Spotlights!
- Kaley Ledezma earned 3rd Place in Animation
- Michael McCullough & Jack Webster earned 2nd Place in Digital Game Design
- Sam Dovin, a first-time competitor, earned 1st Place in Graphic Design

8th Grade Spotlights
- Daniel Varner- 1st Place in Audio Production for his amazing beats
- Charlie Evans- 1st Place in 3D Modeling for his innovative ideas and designs

Our 1st place winners will advance to the state competition in March!

We are incredibly proud of all of these students for their creativity, perseverance, and dedication. Way to represent our school!
