Getting this video warmed our hearts! One of RBC's youngest citizens is out doing community service for the needy. A servant's heart can start at any age! Thank you Will Jenkins for serving our community. πŸ’šπŸ’™

When Attalla Superintendent Matt Miller stepped into his new role, we approached Attalla City Schools about a mental health partnership. He welcomed the opportunity and allowed us to pursue collaborative grant funding on the district’s behalf.

Today, we received the exciting news that the grant has been selected for funding!

Through this award, a full-time licensed mental health professional will serve students at Etowah Middle School/Etowah High School for the next five years. Even better, students will have access to free mental health services year-round, including during the summer months.

We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to support the students and families of Attalla City Schools. To God be the glory! πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’š Psalm 126:3

Today is Day 29 of Mental Health Awareness Month.

As we prepare to close out this month, Maximizing Mental Health wants to remind you that mental health awareness isn’t just a May conversation, it’s an everyday commitment.

Taking care of your mental health is not a sign of weakness. It is an act of strength, courage, and self-respect. Whether you’re reaching out for support, checking in on a friend, setting healthy boundaries, or simply making time to rest, every step matters.

Remember: You don’t have to carry everything alone. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

πŸ’š Together, we can keep MAXimizing mental health...today, tomorrow, and every day.
