As some of you may know from a previous post it is with great, great, sadness that I am making this post today. Some may know that last year at our benefit in Jacksonville, Fl. a crackhead stole our trailer loaded down with over $24,000.00 in merchandise that was to be sold at the event. That was a tremendous blow to our charity to say the very least. However we tried so very hard to recover, but due to deaths in our board members and sickness in others we have no choice but to close the charity. It goes without saying that I personally feel that I have let down my friend Jimmie VanZant, to whom I made a promise so many years ago. He was not only fighting for his life against cancer, he was also fighting an evil that all I will say is I hope God has mercy on her soul. There are so very many people I need to thank, that stepped up time and time again, those of you that stood countless hours in so very many road blocks, and benefits all over the country. To all the wonderful artists that stepped up so many times over and over, to all the businesses and individuals that supported us over the years. To all the venues that donated your establishments for our cause. I know I will never be able to name each and every one of you, but do not think you don't have my complete and utter respect. If in my tenure as ceo if I in anyway offended, or made you mad I apologize with everything in my soul. For me it has been 8 years of astonishment and sometimes disbelief when it comes to the utter goodness of folks that step up for others of whom they don't even know. I personally believe there will be front row seats for you folks in Heaven! I will probably have to repost to try and tag some of you, because it (facebook) limits things to pages like this. And please remember Jimmie VanZant, he was very worried he would be forgotten in his final hours of this thing we call life. Jimmie was not a faker when it came to caring for others, people talk big games in this life but if you pay close attention to their actions you cannot hide what you truly are, even when he was sick and had just got all his hard earned money taken from his bank accounts by evil, he still gave money he needed himself to those less fortunate. And a lot of people say it, but I truly mean it, if I can ever help any of you in anyway please don't hesitate to pick up the phone. And to you my brother Jimmie, I hope when you look down at me it is not in disappointment. Thank you all from the deepest part of my soul, we will be closing down the charity by 4/15/23. We do have some stuff to liquidate so i'm asking for you to purchase these last few items so we can close everything out. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ALL! WITH THE DEEPEST REGRET JOEY NICHOLS
