Never Forget

09/08/2026

We strive to make all our scouts feel special!

If you're interested in joining Cub Scouts, we'd love to hear from you!

Every Scout Needs a Place to Belong

A Scout who feels invisible is a Scout we may lose.

Know their name.

Ask about their interests.

Notice when they're absent.

Celebrate their progress.

Give them a job.

Ask for their opinion.

Sometimes retention doesn't require a bigger activity.

Sometimes it requires an adult to say:

“We're glad you're here.”

Our annual fishing derby was very successful yesterday! This was our first year in a long time opening it up the public to try and recruit some new scouts, and we were successful! Had 4 families signup as well as a couple dads show interest in becoming leaders!

The kids caught lots of fish, plus a few big ones too. All were safely returned to the water.

A special thanks to our older scouts from the Troop and Crew who came out and helped the Cubs and guests with all things fishing. They made a great impression on not only the scouts and kids, but the families as well.

Lots of smiles and memories were made yesterday.

Our first meeting of the year is September 8th at 6pm. If you know someone in Kindergarten through 5th and they’re interested in scouts, please reach out and you can come visit us! If you have older kids, we can put you in touch with the Troop or Crew too.
