Please join us in welcoming Coach Philip Manning to the Reedy family! Pending board approval, Coach Manning will be our new Head Boys Basketball Coach. Philip Manning joins Reedy after serving as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Sherman High School. He brings over a decade of elite Texas high school coaching and teaching experience, spanning the competitive 5A and 6A levels. His impressive resume includes valuable experience as a varsity assistant and associate head coach at premier programs including Allen, Braswell, Plano Senior, and Sulphur Springs.
Coach Manning’s career is highlighted by four district championships, a state tournament semifinal appearance, and national recognition as a tournament finalist at The Throne National Championship. A three-time District Coaching Staff of the Year recipient, he has a proven track record of elite player development, having helped advance over 30 players to the collegiate level—including 10 Division I athletes. Known for building highly competitive programs centered around accountability, leadership, and academic success, Coach Manning, his wife Carinne, and their daughters Claire and Evie are excited to join the Reedy Lion family.
