⚾ FWYB is about so much more than baseball. It’s about investing in kids long after their last game. ❤️

Meet Ziah Poston.

Ziah grew up playing at Renwick from 8U through 12U. Today, he’s a student at Friendswood High School, where his passion has shifted toward band and music—but his FWYB story didn’t end when he stopped playing.

Now, Ziah is back on those same fields as an FWYB umpire, earning money to help pay for the activities he loves.

And he’s not alone.

FWYB currently has 85 active umpires of all ages. Through our Umpire Program, young people have the opportunity to earn money while learning lessons that go far beyond baseball—confidence, responsibility, communication, leadership, accepting feedback, making tough decisions, and showing up when others are counting on you.

That’s the impact of FWYB. ⚾❤️
It goes beyond the game. Beyond wins and losses. Beyond a player’s final season.

There are so many stories like Ziah’s happening at Renwick that our community may never see—and we want to start sharing them.

Coach Walmsley’s 4U & 5U Camp officially wrapped up today! ⚾️👏

We couldn’t be more proud of these young players and all they accomplished. From learning new skills to working hard, having fun, and building confidence, they gave it their all!

🚗⚾️ We are so excited to show off our brand-new parking lot!

This is a huge improvement to our park, and we cannot wait for everyone to see it. The fresh black asphalt is smooth and clean, the parking spaces are clearly marked with crisp white lines, and the handicap-accessible spaces are easy to identify. Driving in, parking, and exiting the park will now be a much smoother experience for everyone.

We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who worked hard to complete this project over the past week. We also want to thank all of our families for their patience while the parking lot was closed. We know the temporary inconvenience was not always easy, but the finished result was well worth it!

We cannot wait to show it off this fall season. 💙⚾️
