🌱 Free Texas Bluebonnet Seeds! 💙🌱

Next time you stop by City Hall, be sure to grab a FREE packet of Texas bluebonnet seeds from the lobby, provided by Keep Friendswood Beautiful.

Whether you’re paying your water bill or visiting the Galveston County Tax Office, it’s an easy way to take a little piece of Friendswood home with you. 🌱

These seed packets were hand-assembled by FISD Transition Center students, making this a special community-made project just for our residents. Plant them now and enjoy beautiful bluebonnets this spring!

🌼 Available while supplies last — one per visit, please.

🌳 Trees for the win! 🌳

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Tree Giveaway and helped make it such a success. Seeing our community excited about planting trees and investing in Friendswood’s future never gets old. 💚

These trees will provide shade, beauty, and environmental benefits for years to come—right in our own backyards. We can’t wait to see them grow!

🌟 New Year. Same Hero.
Ordinary people with extraordinary care.

No cape. No pressure. Just a bag, a minute, and the choice to leave a place better than you found it.

💚 Small action. Big impact.

Keep Friendswood Beautiful recently visited Chara’s Bloom Class to talk about the seasons and how nature changes throughout the year.

Students ages 3–4 explored fall and winter through art by painting leaves to represent fall colors and drawing on white rocks inspired by winter. 🍂❄️

Hands-on activities like these help spark creativity and build early connections with nature. 💚🎨

Members of Keep Friendswood Beautiful and Friendswood Methodist Church recently worked together to re-home orphaned native plants from a nearby residence.

These plants will soon be part of a new pollinator garden planned near the entrance to Wesley Hall, where they’ll provide nectar, pollen, and foliage to support local wildlife and promote a healthier ecosystem. 🐝🦋

Thank you to the church members and volunteers who helped give these native plants a new home. 🌱💚

🌿 Something new has arrived at Old City Park! 🌿

Meet the Arena Roundup—a self-guided adventure that invites families to explore, read, and learn together. Each stop encourages independent reading while helping kids learn about the important roles animals play in nature—and how we can be good environmental stewards by protecting wildlife and conserving natural resources.

👀✨ Sneak peek: Say hello to Swampus the swamp rabbit and Bandit the raccoon… the rest you’ll have to come out and find! 👣

🔴 Please note: there are no physical maps — just explore and enjoy the creatures (there are eight total).
