Hey yall. Just wanted to point out that the hoa assessments might be easy to miss this year.
If you haven't received yours by now then something is amiss. Save Future You some hassle and right now email Kyle at [email protected]. Be sure to include your home address.
I got it by email (Dec 4) and opened the attachment. Saw the first 2 pages which is (messaging/housekeeping). *Keep scrolling*, there is a third page, which is the actual bill - includes account number etc.

Easiest free way to pay it is use your bank's bill pay functionality. Next is to write and send a paper check.
Unfortunately, using card online incurs a fee from the processor that gets passed down to the individual.

Let Kyle know if you have any questions about the assessment or technical issues.
The Board members are happy to answer questions about how we arrived at the current budget/assessment.
Thanks so much.

Grand Parkway meeting on 23rd (Thursday) evening.
if you have questions about it (read: impact on Bay Area Blvd) - try to attend.
not sure I will be there, but even if I am, lots of voices and questions is better than just one or two of us.

GRAND PARKWAY TOWN HALL MEETING
The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting an important town hall meeting in League City next Thursday, October 23, regarding one of the region’s most impactful transportation projects— the expansion of the Grand Parkway.

A segment of the expansion project—known as B1—is from I-45 in League City to south of FM 2403. This portion of the project, which is slated to begin construction in 2027, will impact several League City roadways, including Hobbs Road, Calder Road, and FM 646.

The October 23 meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center at 400 West Walker Street. The town hall will also be broadcast live on League City’s page, and a video recording will be available to watch on the City’s website. Attendees will be able to ask questions and provide comments following a short presentation by TxDOT that will cover the following topics:

o Project overview and timeline
o Expected impacts during construction
o Residential and commercial development impacts
o How to prepare as work begins

For more information on the Grand Parkway expansion project, visit TxDOT's website: https://www.txdot.gov/projects/projects-studies/houston/sh99-grand-parkway/overview/segment-b.html

OMGoodness! Thank you so much to all the folks that came out for NNO - the turnout was huge! By far our largest turnout ever, to anything!☀️
It was so awesome to see so many neighbors getting together and talking and sharing a meal. This was what NNO was meant for. Besides the heat, it was perfect in every way.
I wish I got more pictures: there were tons of kids, some folks brought their furbabies, and so much activity! If any of yall want to post pics here, that would be great!
A big shout out to the volunteers that jumped in to help. We couldn't have done it without you.
Huge gratitude to the Board members that worked their behinds off: JP at the grill - Siok Hong at the food table - Cody and Doug working the whole place. And Doug was the MC - no word yet on his voice today 😄. They and their families did hours of setup before-hand and the breakdown after.
We look forward to getting together again!

[word of wisdom - if mosquitoes find you to be sweet - prolly bring some repellant too]

don't forget ... tonight after regular pool hours ... Jaws.

TEEN DIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHT Saturday 17 July - after 8pm
Y'all - we are going to set up a screen at the pool -
In honor of Shark Week - it's gonna be Jaws.

There will be bottled water and sodas and snacks/pizza.

This is intended to be a Teen Night, but their families are also welcome, indeed encouraged to come.

Teens should bring their access badge for the gate, so that they can attend.
We will start at 8-ish, but movie will probably start closer to 8:30 or 8:45.

Necessary Caveats:
- We are happy to have the fams of teens come and stay, but we encourage the smaller kids to probably stay home, as there are additional safety risks.
- It's Jaws. Rated PG, in 1976.
- We would really love to have a few parents of those teens also hang out - help us keep eyes on things.

Hope to see you there!

From the Summer KickOff event on the 28th of May. Want to thank everyone that came out to swim and chat it up.
Pics can't show it but the pool was FULL of kids, the parking lot was full too. Very much appreciate all the feedback we got.
Stay tuned for more!

Rustic Oaks: Summer Kick-Off Ice Cream party at the pool - Friday! 12 to 5 on Friday, May 28!
We will have an ice cream truck serving scoops to the kiddos (and kiddos-at-heart). Obviously, the pool will be open (in 'swim at your own risk' mode).
You will need your access badge to get into the pool area. And yes, last year's badges still work.

For those of you that don't have an access badge yet, we plan to have someone there that can pass out badges to homeowners with clear accounts. Bring your DL or a utility bill that proves your RO address.

Hope to see you there!

More Pool Cards!
Doug will be at the pool TOMORROW from 9 till noon with access cards for the pool.
- if you still have your card from last year, it should still work. feel free to come by and test and say hello.
- if you got a card last year and need a replacement, or just need a 2nd (or more) card, there is a 25$ fee per card, payable only by check.
- if there is a problem with your account (balance anything other than zero), we won't be able to issue you a card, but will instead refer you to the Management company office (specific contact name and her info). We won't have any information with us to really help you otherwise, and certainly can't accept monies in person.

drainage meeting today at 4pm
meeting with City Director of Engineering at 4pm today, specifically to provide input on mag creek/Cedar Gully drainage project.

Drainage Meeting with City Engineering on 4 May (Mag Creek/Cedar Gully). Christi sent an eblast this past week with a combo-summary of 2 of the recent drainage meetings.
**As a slight correction: the email link and web form for feedback are ONLY for the Lower Clear Creek Project. The City/Engineering firm does not have an email address or web form for the Mag Creek/Cedar Gully project.**

**Instead, we have managed to swing an online meeting with Chris Sims (Director of Engineering) at 4pm on 4 May.**
To be clear, this is not so much a "learning" meeting as it is a "feedback" meeting.

Take a look at the summaries I have posted, or the eblast from Christi (which is better organized). Examine the slides and the recordings.
Specifically to Mag Creek (S of 518)/Cedar Gully: if you have feedback to give, or some clarifying questions, send an email to [email protected] and they will forward you the link to the online meeting.
We have a limited time with Mr Sims, we want to make that time is as focused and on-point as possible.

As a quick reminder, the folks at the management company are always happy to help, but they have no answers about the drainage projects or the options/solutions. All they can do is refer you to the City and the published info.
