🚀 What a spring it has been for our Dream Big Boys Group! During this past STEM-focused session, the boys experimented with explosive (and safe!) elephant toothpaste, cooked and baked delicious snacks together, and collaborated to design and build their own rocket.

With the generous support of Sam Garsen and Friday Harbor High School, we were able to use the STEM building and even 3-D print parts for our rocket. And yes… it was a successful launch!

We’re so proud of this crew and grateful to our community partners who help make these experiences possible.

We are so proud of what’s already unfolding in our very first after-school Neurodivergent Group! In just a short time, participants have:

🫂 Built new friendships and meaningful connections
🌿 Stepped outside their comfort zones, supporting one another through team challenges and group activities
🌻 Planted sunflower seeds for Mother’s Day
🔎 Made thoughtful observations in the natural world

Watching these young people encourage one another and grow together has been truly inspiring. We cannot wait to see what the rest of the season brings. 💚

This is a wonderful way to unplug, learn something new, and connect with the land and each other. Please consider carpooling if possible.

We’re excited to share that two groups of our Adult & Me in the Water classes are wrapping up in collaboration with The Rec SJI !

Led by Yubi as part of our Community Health Worker and Perinatal program, this special offering creates space for caregivers and little ones to connect, build confidence in the water, and strengthen bonds through movement and play.

It’s been wonderful to see families learning, laughing, and growing together in the pool. Thank you to The Rec for partnering with us to make this possible and to the families who jumped in with us.
