A week ago we posted about getting this little crew off the streets and tnr’ing their mama! During our intake exam we noticed the little calico was dragging her back legs. We had her checked out by our vet and she couldn’t find any breaks or cause. She told us to do physical therapy a few times daily and if there was no improvement we might have to make a tough decision. 😢
We are happy to announce that little Honey improved each day we worked with her!! She went from dragging those back legs to running and bouncing with them!!!! 🎉 We are soo thrilled!! (Please watch the videos in the comments to see Honey’s transformation!)
Honey most likely wouldn’t have survived on the streets as a kitten. She was not even a pound where as her siblings were well over. It would have been a huge hinder for her even to get to food. Honey is one of the lucky ones, but so many with difficulties and illness are not so lucky. Up to 75% kittens born outside won’t make it to adulthood! 💔 Please spay and neuter all outside cats you feed! You care enough to feed them, care enough to fix and vaccinate them as well.
Honey and her sister Klondike have been pre adopted and are in their foster to adopt home now! Their sisters, Cookies ‘n Cream are still available for pre adoption. Our foster to adopt program is super nice because you can start bonding early and you also open a space for us to rescue another cat in need. 🫶🏼
