An amazing show of support yesterday. As the sun was setting on day four of the Sun•Maid Raisin Strike, we were energized by an impromptu performance by CENTRO de FOLKLOR, a Local Mexican dance troupe. They energized our striking picketers and celebrated another day that Sun•Maid was unable to operate without the”Life blood of the Company”.

Sun•Maid Workers walked out of the plant today at 3:00 pm. 250 strong, loud and proud Teamster Members are saying NO to low wages, a high deductible health and welfare plan and shared cost for that plan. They are sacrificing everything in an effort to win a good contract that provides quality health and welfare, fair wages and a chance at the American Dream. #raisinwagesforsunmaidworkers.
