The Corn Nuts strike has finally come to an end after 9 1/2 weeks. This is a victory win not for the employees at the Corn Nuts facility! Its a win for everyone who supported us through this historic moment. We will like to show our to BCTGM International Union Thank you! Alex Padilla Thank You! Bernie Sanders Thank You! US Congress Thank you! Fresno Fire Department Thank you! City of Fresno, California Thank You! President Joe Biden administration Thank You! Local union 85 Thank You UFCW 8-Golden State Teamsters Thank You! Thank you to all who donated food and materials that helped alot. United We Stand divided we fall and Beg. It was 39 workers who stood strong although we are small in numbers we with the world watching showed the true meaning of . Thank you all for your support as week #8 comes to a close. We can't express how we all are. Hormel Foods management aka does not take there employees well being seriously. Recently in the same week we had 2 members who spouses had to get there hearts operated on. 90% of our work population depend on medication for there . They are using health coverage for a bargaining chip but the plan is darn near equal to not having insurance at all. Is there anyone who can step in to have Hormel come to there senses. There intentions for the working class is bad. ITS unfair and pure . Once again thanks to those who continue to support us☺️
