Irving Woodlands requires riders to join one of the 20 clubs that maintain trails on their land and display that club’s decal. Frenchville ATV Riders Club is one of those 20 clubs! Join them today to get your ticket to ride those trails!

With stunning views of the St. John River and the surrounding valley, this club offers some of the most scenic riding opportunities in northern Maine.

Hi folks,
We hear you! We understand the frustration and want to clarify a little extra for all of you. Yes, the trails are ready to ride, but the delay is not simply about trail conditions. 🐛

Rest assured, we’re not alone and this wasn’t a decision solely on VATV. The decision was made in coordination with ALL ATV clubs across Northern Maine, landowners, town and state partners who help manage and protect the resources we all enjoy. 🌲

We’re hearing the suggestion that trails should open now and close when spraying takes place but in reality, that isn’t how the system is managed. Trail openings are coordinated across clubs, landowners, town and state partners, and once a system is opened, it’s very difficult to reliably close and maintain access across hundreds of miles of interconnected trail. 🛑

While waiting a little longer isn’t what anyone wants to hear, these decisions are made with the long-term health of the forests, land and future access in mind. 🤝

We hope this helps and appreciate everyone’s patience. Hang tight! Riding season is coming soon. 🤙

🛑TRAILS ARE CLOSED🛑

Just a reminder for everyone (some more than others 🤷🏻‍♀️) that CLOSED means NOT OPEN!

A landowner sent us a game cam photo of a 4 seater side by side riding the trails on his land- DO NOT be like this guy!

We will be having our monthly meeting this Thursday (5/21) at 6:30 pm at the Snowmobile Clubhouse on Paradis Ave. We hope to see you there!

I have also been receiving messages about when the trails are opening. We have no set date yet as we are waiting for Irving to spray for budworm and our system is still pretty wet. I will post here as soon as we know. We are all excited to get out there but we have to respect our landowners because without them- we have no trails! Thank you for understanding!

Hi all, Vanessa here! The snow is melting and ATV season will be here before we know it. Last week I sent out a letter and a membership form to all of last years members. This had some information about the upcoming season and our first meeting. If you choose to support our club again this year, please mail your form and payment to the address listed on the form. We appreciate your support!

Our first meeting of the season will be this Thursday, April 16th, at 6:30pm at the Frenchville Snowmobile Clubhouse on Paradis Ave. We hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that you can visit the Roussel Cabin by vehicle but should NOT be going beyond that point unless in an ATV. Also, there should be no hunting in or around that field, there are houses all over the area. The landowner will be putting ‘No Hunting’ signs.

Thank you for understanding!
