We are so excited to begin planning our 2026 Thanksgiving Community Meal! ❤️

This year is extra special as we prepare to serve our community for the FIRST time from our NEW building! 🏡

What a blessing it is to have a place to call home as we continue growing our mission of nourishing our neighbors and serving our community with love and dignity.

❤️ Due to the number of neighbors we serve, this year’s Thanksgiving meal will be DRIVE-THROUGH PICKUP and DELIVERY ONLY. Our goal is to ensure we can serve as many individuals and families as possible!

We are already working behind the scenes to make this Thanksgiving special, and we can’t wait to share more details with you soon!

📢 OUR 2027 VOLUNTEER CALENDAR IS NOW OPEN!

People Serving People is excited to begin filling our 2027 Wednesday volunteer calendar!

Each Wednesday, volunteers come together to do more than prepare and serve a meal. They help create a place where our neighbors feel welcomed, valued, and connected. We couldn’t do this without the incredible churches, organizations, businesses, and community groups who serve alongside us!

📧 RETURNING VOLUNTEERS: If your group has volunteered with us previously, you should receive a sign-up link at the email address you used in the past. Be sure to check your inbox! If you haven’t received the email, please reach out!

🤝 NEW VOLUNTEER GROUPS: We would love to welcome you! If your church, business, organization, or community group is interested in serving with us in 2027, please send us a message or call/text 270-776-5631.

Whether you’ve served with us for years or are joining us for the very first time, there is a place for you at People Serving People.

Together, we can continue nourishing our community, building relationships, and serving others with dignity and love.

🍽️ COULD YOUR CHURCH OR ORGANIZATION HELP US SERVE MORE IN 2027? 🤍

As People Serving People looks ahead to 2027, we’re exploring ways to expand our weekly meal service and provide even more opportunities for our community to gather around the table. But growing our serve calendar takes more than food — it takes people.

We’re looking for local churches, businesses, civic groups, small groups, and organizations that would be willing to partner with PSP by committing to serve just ONE day or evening each month in 2027.

Imagine what we could do together if several groups each said, “We’ll take one.” ❤️

Your group could help make it possible for PSP to add an additional weekly daytime or evening meal — providing more meals, more connection, and more opportunities to serve our neighbors.

✨ NEW LOOK. NEW HOME. NEW MISSION. ✨

As we’ve gotten our feet under us in our new building, we’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what we want People Serving People to be—not just today, but for years to come. We’re embracing more than a new building, we’re embracing a renewed vision for our community.

Over the next several weeks, you’ll notice some changes as we continue to grow into that vision. Some of these changes may look different from how we’ve done things in the past, and we simply ask for your grace and patience as we make this transition. Every decision is being made with one goal in mind: to better fulfill our mission and serve our community well.

At People Serving People, we believe a meal is about so much more than food. It’s about gathering around a table, sharing conversations, building relationships, and reminding one another that no one has to do life alone.

Our Mission
To provide nourishing meals while cultivating a sense of community, dignity, and connection. We believe that a meal means so much more when shared around a table, where neighbors become friends, and every person has a seat at the table.

Our hope is to create a place where every person feels seen, valued, and welcomed—not just fed. A place where relationships are built, conversations happen naturally, and community grows around the table. Thank you for walking alongside us through exciting new chapter. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are joining us for the first time, there’s always a seat at our table.
