📣👏🏼 New member alert! And it’s a bit shocking that he’s a NEW member considering he’s been in business at the same location since 1985!
Wendell Stewart opened Stewart’s Barber Shop on 118 W Washington St when he was just a young man of 21 years old.
44 years later, he still looks like a young man, but he’s cut the hair of generations of people. Grandads down to great grandsons. His chair has held every age from 1 to 100. 👶 👴
Wendell says that’s the best part of what he does. He gets to connect with so many people. And that makes sense because he’s warm, friendly, and I suspect he could make conversation with anyone who came through the door. Must also be why he’s a city commissioner.
He’s passionate about the prosperity of our beloved downtown Franklin KY and loves it here. The merchants feel the same, so it was that shared love that made him join the merchants…that and he really wanted one of our cool OPEN banners! 🤣
