FSCP also will host events in the community in order to bring the LGBTQ+ friends and family together!

If you paid for a vendor booth two years ago and pride got cancelled, you can set up for free this year. No strings attached, no catch. Absolutely no vendor fee. Including food trucks. I don’t even want sponsors this year.

Mark your calendars! Franklin Simpson community pride will be back this year. No vendor fees, everyone can set up for free. Free admission to the event. Local musicians and drag. Date to be released once approved by the board.

I want to take this time to thank everyone for your interested in our second annual event. I want to take this time as the only member left standing on the pride committee to thank you for your support of our first annual festival last year. This year i have decided not to have the festival. I have no help. I have no community support. I have no financial support. Everyone has abandoned me and nobody has helped me plan this event. The event is coming up and there’s to much left to do. There’s no money because we have no vendor interest, no sponsorships and nobody from the community willing to step up and help this year. I simply cannot do this alone. I will be issuing refunds to everyone who has signed up as a vendor and sponsor as soon as I receive money back from everyone who has already been paid for their services. I will not do you wrong. I will get to everyone as soon as I am able. Blowing me up to get a refund will not expedite the process. It will simply make things worse for me. I apologize we are unable to make this festival happen this year but nobody cares enough about pride in this little town to help me out. I hope you all understand and I appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
