PSIA-AASI Central is the Central Division of Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors, serving 3500+ members in the Midwest through snowsports education, certification, & promotion. About Central Division

PSIA-C and AASI-C membership includes approximately 3,500 snow sports instructors in the disciplines of Alpine Skiing, Sno

wboarding, Nordic (Track & Telemark), and Adaptive Snow Sports throughout the Midwest (MN, WI, MI, IA, IL, IN, OH, MO, KY, AR, TN, LA, MS, AL, ND, SD). Throughout the United States there are nine divisions of ASEA. Our National Certification Standards are developed by PSIA & AASI's National Demonstration Teams, and are applied nation-wide by all divisions. We provide our members education materials (video, web, magazine, and books), indoor, online, and on snow training clinics, and certification in our disciplines of Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic and Adaptive. We offer our members Children and Senior Specialist credentials which grant professional recognition to the instructor and industry for their education, experience, and expertise in teaching children and seniors snowsports. We also offer accreditation in Advanced Trainers/Clinicians and Freestyle (Park & Pipe). Other services of PSIA-C and AASI-C include working with Snow Sports Schools, Directors, Trainers, Areas/Resorts and Professional Organizations like the Midwest Ski Areas Association (MSAA) to promote and support uniform excellence in snow sports instruction. Additional membership benefits include discounted equipment, accessories catalog, pro forms, and a special promotion with Volkswagen. The goal of PSIA and AASI is to provide a fun, safe and positive snow sport experience for every one of our guests. "Go with a Pro," is a PSIA and AASI marketing program for our members to the general public, to encourage ski area and resort guests to learn from a "Professional Instructor." Our professional instructors offer basic movement introduction from the absolute beginner, all the way to coaching for the expert skier or snowboarder on any type of terrain.
