Rotary Club of Frankfort, Indiana Meeting every Thursday at noon at Arborwood. We are a Service Organization Serving the Community and the World What would it take to change the world?

The club was treated to a visit from Captain Andy Nussbaum at last week’s luncheon. Andy shared the history of his flying career starting at 15 years old working on his license, moving from prop planes to private jets to United Airlines and finally UPS. Andy is a 1990 FHS graduate and son of fellow rotarian, Jack Nussbaum.

At last week’s luncheon, the club heard about the history, current operations, utility costs and the future of Tipmont REMC from Communications Director Rob Ford. Tipmont is a customer owned rural electric membership corporation providing power and internet connectivity mostly in Tippecanoe and Montgomery counties but also in the Western portion of Clinton County. Our own Lynn Beck serves on the board of directors.
