MISSING IN FRANKFORT, INDIANA! "This is my cat, Mastodon. he is all black with gold eyes. He is roughly between 12 to 15 pounds. He is neutered with no microchip. He is also 5 years old. He went missing between Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning over by 2nd Street and W. Wabash St. right across from the Senior Resource Center. My husband and I have went out looking for him and have posted him on Frankfort chatter and the Discussions of Frankfort on Facebook and we have went out looking for him. We have had no luck. And we also have put stuff out on our porch with his scent on it, hoping that he would find his way home." Please SHARE and comment if you have seen Mastodon!

**Harry's adoption fee has been SPONSORED for an approved application!

Harry is a senior Hound, around 8 years old, who was found as a stray. It's so sad when older animals are found because we know they were loved at one time by someone. When they need their people the most, they can't find them. Harry is trying to keep a positive attitude and loves to go for walks. He has since gotten his nails trimmed. He is a loving and gentle boy who will likely find curled up in his kennel sound asleep. He is one of very few dogs at the shelter who can live happily with other dogs, cats, and kids. He loves everyone! We hope there is someone out there looking for an older, sweet soul who can keep him happy, safe, and loved in his golden years. **The SPONSORED ADOPTION SPECIAL ENDS TOMORROW, JUNE 20TH AT 4:00 P.M. Marnie's adoption fee is SPONSORED for an approved application until then.

Marnie, oh Marnie. She is an absolute doll - her pictures do not do justice! She is 14 # of fluffy ball! lol! She does need to lose a few pounds. She was just surrendered to us at the end of May. She was surrendered due to the family moving out of state, so we got a few others from the home too. She did live wonderfully with other cats and dogs.
Marnie is spayed and current on all of her medical intake. She will be getting bloodwork and a dental cleaning in the near future. We do believe she needs to have a few extractions, although she doesn't have many teeth left as it is.
Marnie is one of our only senior cats that we have, so if you have been looking for an older cat - it won't get any better than this sweetie pie.

UPDATE: FAMILY LOCATED!

FOUND IN CAMBRIA, INDIANA! This boy was found on 550 North in Cambria. Wearing an electronic collar but no tags. Still with finder. Please comment if you know where he belongs! PLEASE SHARE!

**The ADOPTION SPECIAL ENDS SATURDAY! Reuben's adoption fee is SPONSORED for an approved application until June 20th at 4 P.M.

Reuben was found as a stray, and surprisingly, nobody seemed to know where he came from. He was a little difficult when he first arrived because he is not happy living in a kennel. He has settled in and now lets us get him in and out of his kennel for walks and playtime easily. Reuben has gorgeous blue eyes and a stunning Shepherd coat. His favorite things are going for long walks and playing in the fenced yards. He is learning to play with other dogs and enjoys the company of Dixie. We are slowly introducing him to others. He doesn't seem to like other male dogs. He likely can't live with cats because of his high prey drive, and small kids would be easily knocked over. UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING!

**This is the FINAL WEEK for SPONSORED ADOPTIONS! Rosette's adoption fee is SPONSORED for an approved application through June 20th!

Rosette was just surrendered to us in May along with a few other pets from the home. The family was moving and they were not able to take them with them, so they came to us. Rosette is around 3 years old and completely done with all of her medical work up. It says on her surrender form that she lived with young children, but was frightened by them. She did live with other cats and dogs, but it sounds like she is a strong personlity with them and lets her presence be known at first. We always start with fostering, so that would give her as much time as she needed to adjust in her new home. She has been nothing but a lover here!
