THE SEPTEMBER ADOPT A HIGHWAY CLEAN UP ON ROLLINS RD. WILL BE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 AT 9AM. WE WILL MEET AT THE GRANT FOREST PRESERVE PARKING LOT ON ROLLINS ROAD. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES & PICKER (IF YOU HAVE ONE). RAIN DATE (IF RAINING ON 9/25) WILL BE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH. PLEASE COMMENT BELOW IF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER ON 9/25. OR, LET ME KNOW AT SEPTEMBER 14TH'S MEETING. IT ONLY TAKES US 1 HOUR OR LESS TO DO THE CLEAN UP.

All hands on deck!.....really on shovels & dirt! Need your help ...we are relocating several bushes/flowers this weekend in our gardens at the legion & weeding is desperately needed. I REALLY need your help. This Saturday 8:30am - 11:30am & Sunday 8:30am - 11:30am. PLEASE & THANK YOU. Bring gloves and garden shovels if you have them. Bring water to stay hydrated. YOUR HELP WILL BE SO APPRECIATED 🙂 FYI...thank you Jay Jennings for already volunteering Saturday morning 🙂

At this Monday's Auxiliary Meeting (8/10/26) we need to decide on a September date (& rain date) for our last clean up of 2026 for Adopt A Highway. Please review the list of dates and either respond by commenting below or bring the dates to the meeting on Monday. We start clean up at 9am and it normally only takes 1 hour to complete. Our route is on Rollins Rd. starting at Grove Ave. to Fairfield Rd. (approx. 1/2 mile). We park at Grant Forest Preserve's parking lot on Rollins. You only have to bring a picker (if you have one) and gloves. Here are the dates to choose from:

Thursday, 9/24
Friday, 9/25

Join others from Fox Lake with Promote Fox Lake (Fox Lake Shines) Community Cleanup this Saturday, July 25 from 9 - 10am & help make our downtown something we’re all proud of. Every bag of trash picked up helps create a cleaner, more welcoming Fox Lake for residents, visitors & local businesses.
Meet at Millennium Park (across the Fox Lake Theater) from 9 am to 10 am. Whether you can stay the whole time or just be able to clean up town for a bit.
Promote Fox Lake supplies trash bags & gloves. You bring your own "grabber".
I will have Auxiliary vests with me to represent see you at 9am Saturday for some Community Service 🙂 Comment if you are coming! ALSO...you don't have to be an Auxiliary member to help.

Another day another Clean Up on our Adopt A Highway (Rollins Rd from Grove Rd - Fairfield). We did it in record time w/photos along the way 42 minutes! Thank you Christine Schrubbe as this was her 1st time joining us...right Carol Wilson

We will decide at August meeting our next Adopt A Highway Clean Up for September....everyone look at your September calendar and give dated between 9/14 - 9/30 and let us know what works for you
