Sister Daisy’s Journey to Islam
Early Life and Background
Sister Daisy was raised in a devout Irish Catholic family in California. She later accepted a teaching position to run a preschool at the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

Arriving in Saudi Arabia
She viewed her new role partly as an opportunity to share her Christian beliefs. According to her testimony, she arrived with a suitcase containing Bibles and rosaries, intending to teach local children about Christianity.

An Unexpected Turning Point
While living in Saudi Arabia, Daisy began speaking with local Muslims about Jesus and his miracles. She was surprised to hear them discuss Qur’anic accounts of Jesus, including miracles she said she had never encountered in her own church teachings—such as Jesus speaking as an infant.

Searching for Truth
These conversations motivated her to study Christianity and Islam more deeply. She began examining the differences between the two faiths and seeking a clearer understanding of God and the role of Jesus PBUH.

Embracing Islam
According to her personal testimony, Daisy ultimately found clarity in Islam’s concept of Tawhid (monotheism)—the belief in the absolute oneness of God. She came to understand Jesus as a revered prophet of God rather than the Son of God and eventually chose to embrace Islam.

A Journey That Took an Unexpected Turn
What began as a journey to teach Christianity ultimately became a personal journey of exploration, reflection, and faith that led Daisy to Islam.

🌸 ALINA’S JOURNEY TO ISLAM ☪️🤍

“I was born in Romania 🇷🇴 and grew up loving to go to church. When I was 16, I moved to the United States 🇺🇸.

After graduating from university, I met a Muslim man who treated me differently than anyone I had known before. He respected me, challenged my beliefs, and encouraged me to think deeply about what I believed.

He asked me questions about my religion without demanding immediate answers. At the same time, he introduced me to Islam and helped me explore the Qur’an from a completely different perspective.

Instead of accepting everything immediately, I decided to research Islam for myself.

For six months, I studied, questioned, searched, and reflected. Eventually, I felt that I had found the truth.

In January 2012, I took my Shahada and embraced Islam. ☝️🕊️

I had never experienced the peace I felt at that moment.

The more I learned about Islam, the more I found its teachings meaningful and logical. I also came to understand that there are things we may not have enough knowledge to explain—and that the Qur’an itself reminds us that human knowledge is limited.

My journey to Islam was not simply about changing a religion. It was about searching sincerely for truth and finding a peace I had never known before. 🤍
