Saving Hope Rescue At Saving Hope we would love to see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animals should have to endure needless pain and suffering.

We are providing a voice to those that need it most. The animals that sit chained up with limited access to food and water. Those dumped on back roads to become someone else problem. We believe in not only helping the animals but educating the public and the community on how to do better.

💕 Maddy is a beautiful 4 year old Persian with a big heart and a wonderfully opinionated personality. This sweet girl is very loving and affectionate on her own terms and will happily reward you with snuggles, soft purrs, and cozy time in her favorite bed with blankets and a heating pad. She’s a little purr machine who truly enjoys quiet, relaxed companionship.

Because Maddy can become overstimulated, she does best in a calm home without young children. She’s great at communicating her boundaries and thrives with someone who will respect her need for occasional alone time. While she tolerates brushing and nail trims, she needs a patient, gentle adopter who is committed to daily brushing or regular professional grooming to keep her gorgeous coat healthy and mat free.

Maddy is an intelligent, opinionated lady who knows what she likes! With the right cat-savvy person, she will be a loyal, affectionate companion who brings warmth and love to every day.

🐾 Foster or Adopter Needed for Ben 🐾

Ben is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a calm and quiet home where he can continue building his confidence and feel safe. Despite his shy nature, Ben has so much love to give and thrives when given patience, kindness, and consistency.

Ben gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to many households. He walks nicely on a leash, knows the command “sit,” and is both crate trained and potty trained. He’s a smart boy who learns quickly when given guidance and encouragement.

Ben would do best with a family that understands he may need a little time to settle in and trust new people. One thing to note is that he does not enjoy having his feet handled, so he’ll need someone willing to respect that boundary while helping him continue to gain confidence.

Calling all fosters and Cocker Spaniel lovers!
*Fostering to Adopt is available!*

As part of the large breeder group that was just surrendered to Saving Hope, we have 5 adult Cocker Spaniels in need of Fosters ASAP. There are male and females in need and they range in age from 2 to 6 years old. All these pups have known is kennels and breeding. Please help us show them how wonderful life can be. We cover all vetting, you provide the decompression space and love. All dogs must be spayed/neutered and then will be ready for adoption! Pick up this afternoon in Aledo is preferred although future arrangements are available.

✨Meet our Pet of The Week✨

Olive is a 1–2-year-old shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy to match! She came from a hoarding case in Fort Worth, where she was surrendered alongside several other dogs. Despite her past, this sweet girl is already showing everyone just how resilient and eager she is to learn.

She’s house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and gets super excited for human attention (prepare for tail wags and happy zoomies!). Olive absolutely loves other dogs and would do great in a home with a canine companion to play with and continue building her confidence. She has not been cat tested at this time. Olive is food motivated, making her a quick learner, and she’s currently working on perfecting her leash manners. Because of her energy, she’d do best in a home with older children who can keep up with her playful spirit.

She just started training and is already picking things up so quickly! Olive knows sit, down, heel, come, front, and how to stay calm and polite at the door. She’s smart, attentive, and thrives when given structure and guidance.

She’s ready for a fresh start and a family who will continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Could Olive be your perfect match?

🐾 Found a kitten on the street? Don’t scoop just yet! 🐾

We know your first instinct is to help — and we love that! But before picking up a kitten, take a minute to look around. Mama cats often leave their babies for short periods while they search for food. They also usually come to feed them in the early mornings and late evenings.

Here’s what to do:

👀 Watch from a distance - Give mom time to come back. Keep an eye out, but don’t hover too close. She may be taking a well deserved mom break, hunting for food, or she knows you're near and is staying hidden.

🧤 Only intervene right away if the kitten is in danger - Move them if they’re in traffic, extreme heat, cold, rain, injured, covered in bugs, or at risk from dogs or predators.

📦 If you must move them, keep them nearby - Place the kitten in a safe box close to where they were found so mom can still locate them.

🍼 If mom doesn’t return after several hours, help is needed - Tiny kittens need warmth, bottle feeding, and special care. Do not feed cow’s milk.

The best place for young kittens is with their mama whenever possible. Sometimes the biggest rescue move is waiting, watching, and making sure mom gets the chance to come back. ❤️

This sweet momma tugs all my heart strings! I have fallen in love with her spirit!! She’s been such a great momma to her 3 pups and she’s ready to find her people. She’s so fun and so sweet! She loves to play fetch and squeak her toys. Good with kids and friendly with other dogs. She wants to love so hard! She has stole our hearts!! Never met a stranger!

Is anyone coming to DFW from Austin soon? We have a senior Persian who needs rescue and medical assistance. Her issue is chronic, so it’s not an emergency, but needs to be within this next week.
