The Fort Walton Beach Woman's Club held its last general membership meeting before it's summer break. We celebrated America's 250th Anniversary with spirit and held the ceremonial tradition of announcing the new Board of Directors and thanking the outgoing Club President Linda Evanchyk and welcoming the new Club President Sam (Samantha) Lambert.

Our club is a member of the National GFWC, Greater Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations for women. It was founded in 1890. The Fort Walton Beach Chapter was started in 1921 in a community known as Camp Walton. To learn more about the organization Google the GFWC Women's Club for its history. Come visit us in September.
