Congratulations to member Rosemary Hillyer who was selected the club's October Volunteer of the Month! Besides serving as our recording secretary, Rosemary represented the club as our LEADS representative (leadership) for the state convention earlier this month. At our October meeting members of the executive board presented a skit called, "Where's your spot?" Club President Sam Lambert emphasized that each member has a unique role or "spot" that she can fill to help the club fulfill the mission of improving the lives of citizens in Ft. Walton Beach.
If you would like to find your "spot" in our club, please reach out by messaging us here or by emailing us at [email protected]. We would love to speak with you about being a guest at one of our meetings.

💙 A heartfelt THANK YOU! 💙

We are incredibly grateful to the Fort Walton Beach Woman’s Club for their generous $2,000 donation to Coastal Preparatory School!

As a small nonprofit school, support like this means more than we can put into words. Every donation helps us continue creating a place where our students can learn, grow, build independence, and receive the individualized support they deserve.

We are so fortunate to be part of a community that believes in our students and in what we are building at Coastal Prep. 💙

To the amazing women of the Fort Walton Beach Woman’s Club — thank you for believing in our mission, supporting our students, and investing in their futures. Your generosity will make a real difference in our school!

From all of us at Coastal Preparatory School, THANK YOU! 💙

Candy was donated by our club to the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department for their annual Trick or Treat event. They could still use more candy so if you get a chance , drop a bag off at Station 6 on Hollywood before Saturday.

Great program provided by the Ft. Walton Beach Public Library.

🎓 Your library can help you earn your high school diploma.

This past Saturday, we celebrated another group of local graduates who completed their high school diplomas through the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative’s Career Online High School program! 🎉

Through this program, the Library Cooperative provides eligible adults with the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma online,at no tuition cost to the student. Students can work toward their diploma on a flexible schedule while also earning a career certificate in areas such as office management, childcare, home care, hospitality, manufacturing, and more.

And it’s more than just coursework. Students receive support from academic coaches and certified instructors, along with technical and career guidance along the way.

We are so proud of this year’s graduates and grateful that our libraries can play a small part in such a BIG accomplishment. ❤️📚

Congratulations, graduates! Your hard work paid off! 🎓
