A few of the Fort Valley Ruritans recently participated in the Rockingham District Ruritans 34th Annual Cecil Wampler Memorial Golf Tournament in Luray, Va. The proceeds from these annual tournaments continues to support scholarships with the Foundation, and we are currently working on building another Rockingham District Scholarship. Ruritan Strong...Goodwill, Fellowship, and Community Service!

Join us for the Fort Valley Ruritan's Annual Independence Day Parade--Celebrating America's 250 Birthday!!!!!! Starting at 10am on SATURDAY, July 4th, 2026
Passing the Fire House & Fort Valley Country Store. The celebration also includes a Flyover and 4TH Annual Patriotic Games to include Balloon Toss, guess the 250, and speed Donut eating contest.
Parade participants should line up at Detrick Cemetery on Seven Fountains Rd between 9:15am-9:30am (turn directly across from FV Post office, top of the hill on left). For more details contact Tom Drinkwater 540-933-6856
