📚 Teacher Assignment Day
Thursday, August 6
To help reduce wait times, please attend based on your last name:
• A–L: 9:00–11:00 AM
• M–Z: 1:00–3:00 PM

You'll receive:
✅ Teacher assignment
✅ Information folder
✅ Car rider placards
✅ School forms and important information

Representatives from CYS, Transportation, PTA, and School Lunch will also be available to answer questions.

Come meet your teacher, visit your classroom, and get ready for the first day of school!

Session 1 (3:30–4:05 PM)
• AM Pre-K

Session 2 (4:10–4:45 PM)
• PM Pre-K
• Kindergarten
• 3rd Grade
• 4th Grade

Session 3 (4:50–5:25 PM)
• All other students unable to attend Sessions 1 or 2

💊 Reminder: Medication will not be accepted during Sneak-A-Peek. Medication drop-off is available August 3–4 from 1:00–3:00 PM and during Teacher Assignment Day hours on August 6.

☀️ We hope everyone is having a fun, relaxing summer! We can’t believe it’s almost time to start thinking about heading back to school.

🛍️ Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Alabama’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday: Friday, July 17 – Sunday, July 19! It’s a great time to purchase items on your child’s school supply list while saving on sales tax.

📚 We’ve included the Ellis D. Parker Elementary school supply list to help you plan ahead.

🌟 CALLING ALL GLOW PARTY HEROES 🌟

We need volunteers on May 19th & 20th to help us throw the most epic, glowiest, slightly-chaotic-in-the-best-way party ever! ✨

🛠️ May 19th – Setup Day
Come help us turn the gym from “regular school gym” into “neon nightclub for tiny humans.” Duties include:
• Building a glow dance floor 💃
• Setting up glow games 🎯
• Preparing tattoo stations 😎
• Hanging streamers, stars, and enough decorations to make the gym visible from space 🚀

🎉 May 20th – Glow Party Day
We need amazing volunteers to:
• Help keep the Glow Party running smoothly
• Run tattoo tables like the temporary tattoo professionals you were born to be
• Assist with activities
• Dance with your kiddos under glowing lights 🕺✨

Whether you can spare 30 minutes or a few hours, we’d LOVE the help! Together we can send these kiddos into summer hyped up on glow sticks, music, and unforgettable memories! 🌈
