​Outstanding work today by the Fort Rucker SAMC members and the 15P SLC Class 26-003! The SLC crew got their Community Project approved and jumped right into the lane with us to smash this Adopt-A-Highway cleanup.

Today, the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club gathered for our monthly meeting to sync on upcoming induction ceremonies, community fundraisers, and the next round of selection boards.

​We aren't just a club; we are a cohort of professional NCOs dedicated to excellence and servant leadership. We are currently looking to grow our ranks with leaders who are passionate about giving back to Fort Novosel and our surrounding Wiregrass communities.

Reminder to all JROTC area Seniors we are offering a scholarship and the deadline to enter is Friday. Essays should be approximately 500 words, normal font, normal margins, easy to read.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, a strong commitment to community service, and excellent academic performance. We would like to emphasize that the scholarship will be a check made out to the student’s name, they do not have to be accepted to a college or university to win.

Congratulations to our outstanding NCOs on their selection to the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club! 1SG McKnight, SFC Badillo, SFC Montes, and SSG Soto.

These candidates demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and leadership throughout a rigorous selection process. Their journey included a Brigade Selection Board, Physical Fitness Test, Skill Level 10 evaluations, NCOPD presentation, weapons testing, written exam, authoring an article for Muddy Boots, and a culminating Final Selection Board held today.

Each challenge tested their knowledge, resilience, and commitment to the NCO Corps—and they rose to the occasion.

We are incredibly proud of their achievement and look forward to celebrating them at the upcoming induction ceremony.

Well done, leaders. We are excited to continue watching you lead from the front.

Congratulations to our outstanding candidates on successfully passing the Brigade Board!

This is no small accomplishment — it reflects your professionalism, confidence, and commitment to excellence. You represented yourselves and your units with pride, and it showed.

Next stop: the next level of testing.

Candidates will now face:
• AWT (Army Warrior Tasks)
• AFT (Army Fitness Test)
• Conducting an NCOPD
• Weapons proficiency
• A comprehensive quiz
• Writing and submitting an article
• And the Final Selection Board

The standard only gets higher from here — but so does the opportunity to lead, influence, and serve at the next level.

Stay disciplined. Stay focused. Stay hungry.
