You all are truly amazing! We have had so many lovely people step up and help, and seeing everyone come together has been such a blessing. The Weldy Home is beyond grateful for every donation, message, share, and act of kindness shown. Your generosity and support mean more than words can express.

🚨🚨🚨Our Weldy Home girls are getting the opportunity to take a beach trip at the end of July, and we would love for our community to come together to help make it extra special. We are hoping to provide each girl (8) with a beach bag full of goodies and reminders that they are loved, valued, and supported by the people around them.
Donation ideas:
• Beach towels
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Beach hats
• Beach bags
• Water bottles or reusable cups
• Hair brushes, hair ties, and accessories
• Chapstick and lotion
• Travel-size toiletries
• Snacks and candy
• Card games and small travel games
• Sand toys, buckets, and shovels
• Fun summer surprises
It truly takes a community to love and encourage others, and every donation—big or small—can help make these girls feel special and create memories they will carry with them.

The Weldy Home for Girls invites you to our Charity Dinner on August 8, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church in Fayette, Alabama.

We are honored to welcome Brenda Ladun as our keynote speaker as we come together to support the girls who call Weldy Home their home.

Every ticket purchased helps provide a safe, nurturing environment for girls in need and supports essential services including housing, meals, education, transportation, and life-enrichment programs.

The Weldy Home is in need of donations as all of our girls are home for the summer, and we would be so grateful for any help from our community. ❤️

Items we currently need most:
• Snacks
• Bottled water
• Fresh fruit
• Laundry pods
• Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, plates, etc.)

Tonight is extra special at the Weldy Home as we celebrate one of our girls graduating. 💜🎓

We are beyond grateful for every single person who has shown love, support, prayers, donations, encouragement, and kindness to our home, our staff, and our girls. Your generosity has made a difference in more ways than words can express. Because of this community, these girls are reminded every day that they are seen, valued, loved, and capable of amazing things.

To everyone who has helped carry us through the hard days and celebrate the beautiful moments with us — thank you. Tonight we celebrate not only a graduate, but the village that helped support her journey along the way.

The Weldy Home is looking to hire 1 potentially 2 part time houseparent positions. Must be able to pass a background check, CANs, and drug screen. You can pick up an application at the Weldy Home between the hours of 8AM-3PM, M-F.

The Weldy Home is looking to hire one PRN houseparent position. This will be PRN (as needed) only. There will not be a set amount of hours or a set schedule.
