We kicked off our young men's meetings earlier this month. Our 9th-grade meeting featured a visit from a mechanic who taught them about car care and maintenance.

According to one young man, "Mr. Fitter showed us the important parts of car ownership involving the wheels. Mr. Fitter showed us the differences of the spare tire and the normal tire and how to put on a new tire safely and quickly."

Today, we're spotlighting members Kelly and Noah! Kelly has been our VP of Membership for several years and Noah's held leadership roles within his class during his four years in YMSL.

Reflecting on their time in the organization, Kelly said, "As a mother, I am incredibly grateful for the growth, experiences, and values YMSL has instilled in Noah. I know the lessons he's learned and the heart for service he's developed will stay with him long after his time in YMSL has ended."

Noah said, "My favorite YMSL memory was painting the inside of an elementary school with some of my closest friends. It was hands-on, we had the opportunity to talk and have fun while serving, and we had a few good laughs during the day."
