Great collaborative event this past week with Housing Authority of Fort Fairfield! As part one of our Back-to-School drive, we donated eight fully stocked backpacks for students in need. Part two sees our post providing supplies to the Fort Fairfield Elementary School and Fort Fairfield Middle High School. Thank you to those supporting this effort, and if you want to support by adding donations of tissues or Clorox wipes, you can drop them off anytime this weekend or any night next week. More to report soon!

Create patriotic artwork and compete for awards in your grade division.

🎨 **Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest** *(Grades 9–12)*
Express what patriotism means to you through original artwork. National scholarships up to **$15,000** are available!

🦅 **3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest** *(Grades 9–12)*
Bring your creativity to life with an original three-dimensional patriotic art piece. National awards up to **$2,500**!

One of our auxiliary members helping a veteran from the Maine veterans home bait his hook.

🎣 Some of our residents love to fish, and this outing was a special day for them!

A heartfelt thank you to Chuck Ainsworth for hosting this special day and to the Paul-Lockhart VFW Post 6187 for their assistance in making it possible. It was truly appreciated by our residents. 💙
