Back in February I received a text message in the middle of the night from Brother Bruce, who is a Chippewa Cree Chaplain from the Rocky Boy's Reservation in North Central Montana. He had been thinking the previous day about the fact that the cartels have moved in to the reservations of Montana (just search "Cartels in Montana" on youtube and watch any of the news reports). He was also thinking about the fact that country music is very popular for his tribe and across the other tribes of Montana. He went to bed wondering, "Where can I find a positive Christian voice in country music that could come and make a difference?" That night God spoke to him in a dream, saying, "The voice you are looking for is in a church in Forsyth, Montana." The dream immediately woke him, and he went to the internet and found me on facebook and sent me the first message early in the morning. We met for the first time a couple weeks later in Billings.
This weekend we are having our first tour of concerts in the communities in and around the Rocky Boy's Reservation. Friday I will share The Door in Big Sandy at 7 PM at Paul Williams Memorial Park. Saturday at 2PM in Box Elder at Joe Rosette Memorial Park. Saturday evening an event is planned (or is being planned) at a community building in Rocky Boy. Sunday, I will share The Door at Pepin Park in Havre beginning at noon, and then at 7pm at the Havre Assembly of God Church.
The Door is a revival concert event, and is a description of faith in God like many have never heard before. To hear an example of the impact of the concerts life transforming message, go to markumfleet.com and listen to my new single, The Sinner and the Saint. It is inspired by the outcome of one my concerts a couple years ago.
Please, pray for this weekend and this series of concerts. Bruce and I hope this weekend to be a catalyst that opens up opportunities to share The Door across Montana. It is my goal, vision and mission to share The Door in every community of Montana, especially the rural communities along The Back Roads. Thanks.
